We independently analyze every new profile that is submitted, and we review all content including the username, greeting, photos and videos,
and the About Me and About My Match write ups. When we say we analyze, we mean we read every profile that is submitted to us, with human eyes.
There are automated checks that we perform, but we do diligently spend the time thoroughly reading each line in every profile that comes our way.
We also enforce the validation of email addresses that have been submitted to us with any new profile registration. We want to avoid scenarios
where bogus email addresses are used when registering with Supersocial.com. This will help deter some users from creating fake profiles. If we
cannot validate a user's email address, they will not have the ability to communicate with other users. Once their email address has been validated,
they will then be able to utilize Supersocial's various communications and event planning tools. While this does not completely eliminate the issue
of "fake profiles" being created, we have determined that adopting a process of email validation significantly helps address the problem.
We utilize geographic information software to determine if a user's internet location correlates to the identified country and/or state they submitted
in their profile. While this is not used as a basis for rejecting any one profile, it is used in conjunction with all of the criteria listed above
to make a determination for approval.
Lastly, we read, read, read, and read every profile before they get approved. We feel it's important for our users to submit write-ups that provide
some minimum information about themselves and what they look for in the other person. We only require 60 characters. Some users write more, some less...
but if you want to be approved you have to write something. There's no getting away from it. In fact, we view writing as the online version of oral
dialogue. A date can't be successful if both of you aren't talking, and the same holds true for the online world. Meeting someone can't be achieved
successfully without some form of the written word. So, write... we'll read it, and so will others.
